Help Carisma Heal: Support Her Fight for Life
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sarah Midgett and I’m starting this fundraiser for someone who means the world to me—Carisma. She’s 31 years old, a devoted wife, and the loving mother of four beautiful children, all under the age of 11. She’s strong, full of heart, and has fought through more than most people could ever imagine.
But now, she’s facing the toughest battle of her life—and we need your help.
Carisma grew up in difficult circumstances, raised by her grandmother due to family challenges. Despite the pain she’s endured, she’s always radiated strength, humor, and love.
Recently, Carisma suffered a stroke, adding yet another life-threatening complication to her already fragile condition. She’s also battling end-stage kidney failure and calciphylaxis, a rare and agonizing disease that causes tissue death and internal damage. She has already undergone the removal of her parathyroid gland to try to slow the disease’s deadly progression.
She is currently hospitalized, fighting every single day for her life.
Carisma’s medical needs are extensive and ongoing. Her husband is doing everything he can, but with four young children at home and Carisma unable to work, the financial burden is crushing.
Your donation will help cover:
Hospital bills and dialysis treatments
Medications and post-surgery care
Recovery from the stroke
Medical transportation and wound care
Basic living expenses to help support her children
Future transplant-related costs and aftercare
Carisma is not just a patient—she’s a mother, a wife, and a fighter. She lives for her children. She’s spent her life enduring hardship and still finds a way to laugh and love. She deserves a chance to heal and be with her babies. Her family deserves relief from the fear and uncertainty they’re drowning in.
How You Can Help:
1. Donate anything you can—every dollar brings her one step closer to stability and recovery.
2. Share this fundraiser with friends, family, and your community.
3. Leave words of encouragement—they give Carisma and her family strength during the darkest moments.
Watching someone you love suffer while trying to hold everything together is heartbreaking. But together, we can lift some of this weight from Carisma’s shoulders and help her focus on healing, on being a mom, on surviving.
Thank you for standing with Carisma and her family during this time. Your kindness means more than we can express.
With deep gratitude,
Sarah
