Help Carina Attend Her Mother's Funeral

Hello, my name is Amanda. The lovely woman in the picture above is the woman I take care of, Carina. This fundraiser has been created to raise funds in order to get her to her mother's funeral. Her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's several years ago and has been declining slowly over the years. However, she has reached the point now where she is no longer eating and is extremely weak, so we fear the end is coming soon. As such, we are trying to raise the funds now so that we can prepare to travel when the end comes and a funeral date is announced.

Carina is disabled and on SSI, so she doesn't have a lot of income to spare. I'm also her full-time caretaker and, as such, am not able to work either at the present. We don't have a working vehicle to reach the funeral, so we would have to rent one large enough to fit her wheelchair that we would use for getting to the funeral and then coming home.

Any amount of money you can spare is extremely appreciated. Please help me get Carina home so she can say goodbye one last time.
