Hi everyone,

Earlier this week, I was a victim of online fraud that resulted in someone stealing my bank card number, and emptying the entirety of my checking and savings accounts. Although I did file a claim with my bank, the process can be lengthy. As many of you know, I am a single mom, so mine and my son's only form of income comes from my job as a teacher. I am asking for help to get us through the next couple of weeks so I can pay my electric bill, car payment, student loans, groceries, gas, and the expenses that come with having a child. It is very difficult for me to ask for help, but making sure my son has his basic necessities is more important than any amount of pride I have. Any amount is helpful at this point, so thank you to those who have the ability to donate. Community truly is power.
