Hi, I’ve started this fundraiser to help my sister Carin kick breast cancer’s ass! In March of this year Carin had a mammogram and within a few short days her world turned upside down. Within a few weeks she had countless tests and appointments with different doctors and surgeons. She has already had her first round of chemo with second one scheduled for this week.

Results show that she has aggressive Her2 positive breast cancer and within just 2 weeks it had already grown another 2mm and lymph nodes look suspicious but two attempts at retrieving a biopsy of the lymph nodes have failed.

Carin is to undergo 6 rounds of chemo before surgery, followed by an unknown amount of more rounds of chemo.

Due to the quick reaction of doctors and starting treatment Carin was put off work immediately with no time to prepare for financial obligations. I hope you can find it in your hearts to help my sister in anyway you can.

I unfortunately do not live close by and cannot be with her while she goes through this ordeal. After just the first round of chemo most of her hair fell out and she made the decision to shave the rest off this past weekend.

If we reach the goal of $15,000, I too will shave my head in support of my sister.
