07/16 update

Update from Carey: 11 days later and we still have no answers. A meeting with all of her doctors as to where to go now will be on Friday. In the meantime, focus has been on keeping Davis stable and comfortable.

She’s thankful for the support from her friends, family, coworkers & even strangers! Continued prayers for Davis are appreciated!

Davis is the darling eleven-year-old daughter of our friend and co-worker Carey.

A seemingly normal common cold turned into an ER visit then a flight to Marshfield Children’s Hospital. There she was presumed to have pneumonia and a sepsis infection. Treatment didn’t improve her condition and nearly a week later, Davis’ family is still waiting for answers. Her pain is being managed, but without a diagnosis there isn’t a sure plan for future near or far. There’s a possible move to a larger (further away) hospital pending test results.

Davis a fierce fighter just like her momma who has overcome a lot in her life.

We have created this campaign to help Carey with travel expense now and bills for later as she’s stays at Davis’ side.

Caregiver and server aren’t only her occupations but also who she is as a person. She has a Venmo link (@Carey-Krajewski) and we also set up this GoFund Me for the medical bills to come.
