My name is Carey and I live in Fort Myers, Florida, and I’m seeking your help to provide some relief to the people of Jamaica who are my extended family through birth.

Hurricane Melissa has brought the beautiful island of Jamaica to its knees. 90% of the island is still without power and has no means of communication due to cell towers being down. People have lost their homes and are still without food, shelter, and basic necessities.

While the country is doing their best, as a member of the diaspora, I would love your help in getting the funds needed to ship and disseminate canned goods, clothes, baby diapers, soap, and other desperately needed essentials.
