My name is Misty and I am the mother of Caressa Blount. She just recently graduated high school and has plans on building her future with a business degree. This past weekend, she was diagnosed with leukemia and it has crushed everyone around her that knows her.

Caressa can be described as a bright and smiley positive person who is always willing to help. She has 4 younger sisters at home who adore her. Being able to reach out to everyone at once has become overwhelming because of how loved she is amongst those who know her. I would like to be by her side rooting her on to get better.

The doctors are saying she will need a lot of monitoring and home care once treatment is over at the hospital. Financial worries are something that I cannot grasp right now. Me and my family are asking for any support possible including prayers and positive thoughts. Thank you.
