Help Caregiver Edith and Her Family URGENT

Please help Edith and her family. Edith is a loving caregiver who first took care of our mother and most recently our dad ( a WWII vet). Edith is originally from the Philippines and lives with her daughter, son in law and grandchild. Since Hurricane Ida the family has been living without heat or hot water as the storm caused tremendous damage to their home and cars. We have been trying to help them navigate FEMA and the insurance company which has been a nightmare. Because the cars were old they received almost no money back and the cost of a boiler far exceeds what the insurance company will cover.

 

Over the weekend Edith suffered a massive stroke and is in a coma. Edith had emergency surgery 2 days ago to remove blood clots on the brain and is so far unresponsive. The family will no doubt face medical bills on top of all that they have been dealing with post Hurricane Ida. They are hardworking, good people trying to navigate the unimaginable as best they can.  Your donation/ tzedakah will help them tremendously at this difficult time.
