It is with a heavy heart that I share this devastating story.  Last fall 2019, our father, Timothy Schweighart, was told he had stage 1 Lung cancer.  At that time, we were told he was not a surgical candidate, and he was treated with radiation.  At a follow-up doctor visit, CT scans revealed the treatment of this spot was successful.  This June, a routine follow-up CT scan lead to a crushing discovery of new spots in additional areas. A PET scan showed he now has stage 4 lung cancer with metastasis to multiple wide spread areas including bones, liver, and other tissues. Doctors were hopeful he may have strength to fight for time with Chemo, but just three days later he rapidly declined, and he was hospitalized for two weeks. During this time, we were told his diagnosis is terminal with a week by week prognosis.           My father and mother have had to make heart breaking decisions, and Dad is now home on hospice.  We have been humbled by amazing friends and family asking for ways to help. As we face all new current and future expenses we decided to create a GoFundMe page as a way share his story. This page serves as an opportunity to show Tim and his family support during these hard times.
