This past week, we found Scottie colicking in his stall. The decision was made by us and our vet to bring him to Wisconsin Equine for support through the colic. Once he arrived, he got more painful and required an emergency colic surgery.

Currently Scottie is a few days out from surgery and the vets are becoming increasingly concerned with his lack of appetite, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and hope that he turns a corner soon!

We are still hopeful that Scottie will recover and be able to return to Deerwood soon.

Scottie is too old to be insured, so we are looking for some help to pay off his surgery and hospital stay bills. Scottie has taught so many young kids to ride and is loved by many, including us!
