First off, we thank you for taking the time to read this, it means the world to us!
Hi, my name is Mark, and this is the love of my life, Cara-Melly D! I call her that because she is the sweetest, most loving little girl I've ever met. She's always happy and instantly loved by all whom she meets. She loves to play Frisbee, the beach, absolutely loves to swim and play ball. People stop me all the time, taking pictures with her. At a bus stop one time, she sat amidst a group of children who were on a school trip, in heaven, getting belly rubs and love until the bus showed. She has been my rock and, in a way, my salvation. She's made it virtually impossible for me to have a bad day. Due to my own medical issues, she has become more than a companion; even as a service animal, she goes above and beyond. I get regular EKGs, and she lays patiently next to the table with my hand on her.
She turned 4 on October 7th.
I got her at 6 weeks.
She is with me everywhere.
One night after work, she chased her ball up onto a wall where it had bounced, and she almost made it. I heard her knee hit the wall. She came back limping, and I checked her, but all she wanted to do was keep playing. She was sore for a day, but it seemed she was fine. Months later, she started limping again; it seemed out of the blue. When the vet said it was definitely the knee, I knew that it was the wall
I work, but I still cannot afford the surgery to get her back to her playful self. With surgery, she can still live a healthy, active life. She still has so much ahead of her.
The vet did say, jokingly, that even if it were one of their dogs, they would be hard put to afford the surgery. 50% of owners opt not to have it.
She deserves it!
One of the pictures is just the estimate for X-Rays.
Please help, and feel free to contact me if you need to know more.

We both Thank You from the bottom of our paws!
