Caractacus is a sweet and adventurous Uromastyx lizard who recently came into my care after his previous owner passed away. Just a week ago, I welcomed him into my home, and it didn’t take long for him to settle into his spacious new enclosure. He loves basking in the sun, exploring his surroundings, and sharing veggie time with us. Despite all he’s been through, Caractacus has shown a gentle spirit and a strong will to thrive.

Shortly after bringing Caractacus home, I noticed a large swelling on his tail and quickly realized he had a severe abscess. After a visit to the vet, I learned that he will need multiple surgeries and frequent bandage changes to save his life.

I’m raising funds to cover the cost of Caractacus’s surgeries, ongoing veterinary care, and the supplies he’ll need during his recovery.
