My name is Cara, and I am in need of your help and support. I was recently diagnosed with peritoneal cancer, which is a rare cancer that affects the peritoneum, the thin tissue that lines the abdominal wall. I am currently undergoing aggressive chemotherapy and am unable to work very much. I also had breast cancer in 2009 and am a type 1 diabetic. I need your help with paying medical bills, home bills, and groceries. I never thought in my lifetime I would have to battle cancer twice.

I volunteer a lot of my time as President of my HOA. I run a Fun and Games group for adults to do fun activities together, and I volunteer at the gift shop in my local hospital when I can. This cancer has really set me back, and I am really struggling to do day-to-day things right now. I have always been a person who likes to give all I can, but right now, I am unable to and am asking you to please help me get through this tough road I have ahead of me.
