A phenomenal mother to two adorable children, an asset to her community, an honest, positive, uplifting reporter and the best friend a person could ask for. 

Cara was recently diagnosed with Triple-Negative Breast Cancer. Not only is it the most aggressive form, but Cara's is also invasive. At only 38-years-old, Cara will be starting chemotherapy shortly, followed by surgery for a double mastectomy. Due to the current pandemic, Cara cannot risk working through this, despite her want and will, as the possibility of contracting COVID-19 isn't an option. And as a part-time worker, she will not qualify for disability. 

Cara is a proud woman-- she is also tough, strong and will do anything to defeat this. She isn't somebody to ask for help or accept charity. So I'm going to do it for her. 

Not having an income coming in and not knowing how many medical bills you'll be inundated with is a burden I do not want Cara to stress about. Anything you can give is much appreciated. And if you're unable to support monetarily, the gift of positive energy and prayer is always welcomed. Thank you.
