Hi, my name is Tal, but most people online know me as **Tal the Traveler**.

After hearing Captain Smit Machchhar’s story and seeing the courage he showed while helping save the lives of more than 170 people, I knew I wanted to do more than simply post about it.

I created this fundraiser with one goal: to bring people from around the world together and raise ** $35,000for Captain Smit** as he recovers from his injuries.

Every donation, no matter the size, is a way of saying thank you.

And when we reach the goal, my plan is to personally travel to meet Captain Smit and show him how many people came together to support him.

Thank you for being part of this.
