Help Captain Pat After Tragic Fire
Yesterday my family suffered from a devastating loss. My father, Patrick Wathen has owned and managed Captain Pats Seafood for 25 years, and yesterday there was a tragic fire and the damages are too severe to repair. If you know my dad, you know this restaurant is his entire life and a huge part of his legacy. Aside from that, this restaurant has been a huge part of our community, a place for gathering, eating, relaxing and so much more. He loves this community and I think most can agree he would do anything for it.
About 15 years ago my dad sold the restaurant but still continued day to run the restaurant day in and day out. He was not only the general manager, but the heart and soul of the restaurant. Now that it is gone, he has not only suffered a huge financial loss but the emotional connection and sentiment we have with the restaurant. While we are still in awe of yesterday’s events we are trying to find the silver linings of the situation. We are reaching out to ask that you please consider helping my father and my family rise from the situation as we try to figure out what’s next. We are simply asking for help to get back on our feet as we try to recover from such a devastating loss. We also ask that you please keep us is your thoughts and prayers.
We sincerely appreciate any and all the support that you can provide, thank you.
