Help Captain Pat Dunaway and His Family Rebuild After Devastating House Fire

On July 1, 2025 our friend and colleague Captain Patrick Dunaway of Cheshire County EMS experienced an unimaginable loss—his home was destroyed in a fire, taking with it everything he and his family owned.

Thankfully, Pat, his two young children, and their beloved dog made it out safely. While we are incredibly grateful for their safety, they are now faced with the overwhelming challenge of starting over from scratch. They are in immediate need of housing, clothing, essential supplies, and daily necessities.

Captain Dunaway has dedicated his life to helping others. Since beginning his EMS career in 2001, he has faithfully served our communities for over 24 years, answering the call time and again without hesitation. Now, it’s our turn to answer his.

We are asking for your help to support Pat and his children during this incredibly difficult time. Any amount, big or small, will make a difference as they work to rebuild their lives.
