Captain John Squires and his wife, Louise, live in Horseshoe Beach, Florida. He runs Capt. John Squires Fishing Guide Service. Their home was washed into the Gulf by Hurricane Idalia. They lost everything. A home where they built their dreams, raised their children, and shared their lives.

They've spent over four decades dedicated to their community and living off the sea they love. Captain Johnny has been a cornerstone of the culture of Horseshoe Beach and is beloved by all.
