Help Captain Carlos Get the Medical Care He Needs!
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are reaching out to you with an urgent plea for help. Our beloved guide, Selwyn Bradley (known to many as Captain Carlos), is facing a life-threatening health crisis, and we need your support.
For the past week, Carlos has been battling a severe condition where his platelet count has dropped to a dangerously low level of just 2,000 (the normal range is 150,000). Despite receiving multiple platelet transfusions, his body is not accepting them. The doctors have been unable to determine the exact cause, but they suspect it may be related to his previous battle with dengue fever.
With his platelet count this low, Carlos is at high risk of severe bleeding, which could be fatal. There are no hematologists in Belize who are able to provide the specialized care he needs. The only option left is to travel to Mérida, Mexico, where doctors specializing in this area can potentially offer a solution. However, due to the significant medical expenses already incurred, Carlos and his family are unable to cover the cost of travel and additional treatment.
This is where we need your help.
We are raising funds to support Carlos in his journey to Mexico for the treatment that could save his life. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a difference and help get him the care he urgently needs.
Donations can be made directly through GoFundMe.
