Help Caprice Overcome His Health Crisis

This is Caprice! He is a 2-year-old Pitbull. On May 18th, at 4 am, I woke to find that Caprice was acting very sick. There was puke all over the bedroom where we all sleep. So, we took him to the vet.

We must have spent over 3 hours waiting for the doctor to check him out. They suggested X-rays. The results? A bunch of junk stuck in our poor baby's stomach. But that wasn't all... His small intestine was starting to bunch up. We needed to act fast. It was a very hard time in our lives and we had to think about some other options for little Caprice. We didn't want him to suffer anymore. After some tears and calling the family around for their opinions, the estimated bill was presented to us.

On the low end, we were looking at just over $3000. Then on the high end (if they need to do work on his intestine), we'd be looking at over $4500. Heartbroken, we knew we couldn't pay that. We shed some more tears for our little boy and made some more calls. We did end up going through with the surgery. Leaving Caprice that night was so hard but we knew he was in good hands.

On May 19th, we got a call from the vet and Caprice did need to have the surgery on his small intestine that night.
