Capone has been my best friend and soulmate since he was just four weeks old. Now, at 12 years old, he’s suffering from a tumor that has taken away his appetite and energy. He’s started to bleed, and I can see he’s in pain. We’ve been living together in a park and a baseball field for quite some time, and he’s been my only family through everything. Now, with coyotes nearby and Capone getting weaker, I’m terrified for his safety and heartbroken that I can’t give him the comfort and care he deserves.

I’ve tried to get help before, but I was scammed by two different fundraisers, which has left me with nowhere else to turn. I only have a short time left with Capone—his euthanasia is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 9:00. The vet bills, euthanasia, and cremation are more than I can afford, especially while being homeless. I want to make sure Capone’s last moments are peaceful and that he’s not in pain anymore.
