Hi, my name is Stephanie and I’m asking for help for my beloved Rottweiler, Capone, who is 7 years old and the heart of our family. Capone was recently diagnosed with ossifying epulis, a painful oral tumor that requires specialized surgery to remove and prevent it from spreading or causing further damage. He is currently under the care of Animal Specialty Center in Yonkers, NY, where he is receiving expert treatment and evaluation.
Capone is more than just a dog — he is my constant companion, my protector, and a source of comfort during some of the hardest moments of my life. As a single mom currently on disability, I am also dealing with my own health challenges. The cost of Capone’s surgery and treatment is far beyond my means. The estimates for his care include advanced oral surgery, imaging, anesthesia, pathology, medications, and follow-up visits. Without this surgery, Capone’s condition will worsen, causing more pain, difficulty eating, and further complications.
Asking for help is not easy, but I’m doing this because Capone deserves a chance at a pain-free, happy life. Any donation — no matter how small — will go directly toward his medical care. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read Capone’s story and for any kindness you’re able to show. Your support means more than words can express.
With gratitude,
Stephanie & Capone
