The salon business isn’t built to withstand a pandemic...
Weeks of social distancing, shut downs, reopening and then ANOTHER shutdown of salons has been devastating for an industry of professionals who make a living by touching people.
Capella Salon was created in 1995 and is currently run by Shai and Nicole Amiel to provide the finest Salon and Skin care Services. With some of the most advanced hair stylists and skin care methods, the salon is dedicated to offering unparalleled styling techniques along with the most current technologies.
Monthly business expenses (everything from payroll, products, cleaning services, utilities, marketing, AND location rent) have all but depleted Nicole and Shai's business. Unfortunately, all of these costs don’t disappear just because a pandemic has decimated income. To date, they are in the RED by tens of THOUSANDS of dollars.
As they struggle to pay rent, digging deeper into minimal cash reserves available, the effect has been felt by every assistant, receptionist, colorist, stylist, and janitor. Capella has lost 9 stylists since March. They've not been given ANY leeway from their landlord and haven't able to secure the ELUSIVE PPP Loan.
They've not asked their staff to pay any rent during the two closures of Capella.
All money donated will go DIRECTLY to keeping Capella afloat: rent, utilities and insurance. Any extra will be used to pay their amazing support staff.
Nicole and Shai are the VERY DEFINITION of local mom and pop business. They support the local schools and give back to their community. Now it's time for US to help THEM. ❤️❤️❤️
