Our son Canyon has faced ongoing health challenges since birth, and as his parents, we’ve done everything we can to support him naturally and medically along the way.

Over the past months, his condition has worsened. Canyon is currently struggling with severely enlarged tonsils and adenoids that are obstructing his airway, affecting his breathing—especially while he sleeps. We’ve witnessed episodes where he has difficulty getting enough air, along with night sweats and disrupted rest. While he does his best to stay happy and active during the day, it’s been incredibly hard to watch him struggle at night.

After many attempts to manage this without surgery, we’ve been advised by his doctors that removing his tonsils and adenoids is now the best path forward for his health and long-term well-being. We are hopeful that this procedure will finally allow him to breathe freely, sleep peacefully, and give his body the chance to truly heal and grow.

Canyon is scheduled for surgery on April 21, 2026, in San Juan. Because we live in Rincón, we will need to relocate temporarily to San Juan for up to a week or more before and after the surgery to ensure we are close to the hospital and can monitor his recovery safely.

We are asking for help to cover:

• Travel and transportation to and from San Juan

• Temporary housing for our family during his surgery and recovery

• Medical-related expenses not covered by insurance

• Food and basic needs while we are away from home
