Help Cannon See Clearly Again: Support His Cataract Surgery

Over the past few years, my older brother Cannon has continued to experience severe issues with his eyesight. He is currently working 50-60 hours a week and doing his best to make ends meet; however, last week he was met with some devasting news at his eye exam. Cannon's right eye has already been very limited due to cataracts and now a fast acting cataract has made it's way to the left eye as well. If this is issue is not resolved with urgency he could very well end up blind in both eyes. The specialist brought to his attention that due to his condition becoming much worse, he needs Emergency cataract surgery for both eyes.

His specialist also made it a point to tell him that he should not be driving because his limitations are well beyond the range of him currently being legally blind.

My brother is celebrating his 7th year of sobriety this March and has been working hard to get his health in order over the last 7 years. This setback is merely just that. He has already set up the appointments for the end of March and the first week of April to have the surgery performed. If you have it in your heart to assist, it would be much appreciated.

We are asking for $3,000 to cover the upfront costs of the right eye, approximately $1,700, and the left eye, approximately $600, as well as a few extra dollars to cover the days off work he’ll have to take without getting paid.

If you know Cannon, he’s probably made you laugh or brought a smile to your face in some form or fashion. He means the world to me, and I’m proud of the person he’s becoming.
