This season marks a historic milestone for the Canisius University AAU Club Hockey team. For the first time ever, our program has qualified for the AAU Nationals tournament, set to take place in Jacksonville, FL from March 11th to 15th. Coming off a UNYCHL championship last season, our team has continued to build momentum, earning marquee wins against top-ranked D2 and D3 teams. The dedication and growth of our players over the past three seasons have transformed us into a true contender, both locally and now on the national stage.
Reaching nationals is a dream come true for our players, coaches, and families. Our team is entirely self-funded, with players and their parents covering all expenses throughout the season. Now, as we prepare to represent Canisius University and the city of Buffalo against the best teams in the country, we are seeking support to help cover the significant costs of this journey. Funds raised will go directly toward flights, hotel accommodations, and rental vans to ensure our team can travel to Jacksonville and compete at the highest level.
On behalf of our entire team of young gentlemen, coaches, and parents, any donation goes a long way. We are very appreciative of the support, and will look to make our University and the great city of Buffalo proud. Thank you endlessly, and GO GRIFFS! -Brendan Dimitri (Head Coach)
