Hi All,

I'm starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my Mother. After my Brother and I moved out for college, my Mother decided to adopt a pet to keep her company, a sweet orange tabby, Canelo. He fit right into our family. I've never seen her so attached to a cat like she is with Canelo.

Unfortunately, he snuck out last week and returned with his jaw dislocated and fractured. My Mother has taken him to numerous vets, getting him the help he needs within her budget. Unfortunately, Canelo will need surgery to readjust his jaw.

If we cannot afford his surgery, the county suggested his best option be to euthanize him.
