This morning, what was meant to be a joyful day celebrating Christmas with our family turned into a heartbreaking nightmare. Our sweet little dog, Canela, suffered a terrible accident when two heavy celebration tables fell on top of her. The impact caused two fractures in her pelvis, and she was rushed to the emergency veterinary hospital. Canela is currently hospitalized, in pain, and waiting for urgent surgery.

Canela is not just a pet — she is family. She is our constant companion, our comfort, and a source of unconditional love in our home. Seeing her suffer has been devastating, especially during a time meant for love, gratitude, and togetherness. The medical expenses for her hospitalization, surgery, and recovery are overwhelming, and we are doing everything we can to give her the care she needs to walk again and live without pain.
