Help Candy Rebuild After Eaton Fire
Donation protected
Candy Carlson is my childhood best friend--and the best friend a girl could ask for. She's the one famous for doing everything for everyone. All. The. Time. If you're reading this, you already know that about her. And now it's our turn to help! This afternoon, less than 24 hours after she left work at the Tournament of Roses anticipating a relaxing day off today, Candy lost everything. Her home in Altadena was among those that burned to the ground in the Eaton Fire.
When it comes to being prepared, Candy is it. But no one could have prepared for the fast and fierce devastation of this fire. While Candy managed to safely evacuate her home yesterday evening, the fire quickly took over the area. Candy is facing a long road in recovering from this unimaginable destruction, and our support will help make the path a little easier for her as she works to find and make a new home. This photo is of Candy sporting her favorite team's hat in what used to be her living room.
Especially for those of us who don't live in LA (I'm in the Bay Area), it feels hard to know how to help our dear friend. Coming together with love and donations that will help support her with unexpected costs on this long journey ahead is just the way to do it. XO
