Hello! My name is Candice, although some of you may know me as Nina or Moon Mom. However you know me I hope you also know how very hard it is for me to ask for help, but I'm at a point I don't know what to do.

A little backstory: In February 2024 our home was broken into and our car was stolen. We were incredibly fortunate that it was recovered but it was also severely damaged, which massively impacted our financial stability. Between repairs, increased expenses, and unexpected costs, we have struggled to get back on our feet ever since and because of this we’re now facing a greater challenge.

We’re unable to pay the property taxes on our home, and it is at risk of foreclosure and sale. This home is more than just a roof over our heads; my father built it and it has been my family home for most of my life.

We’re doing everything we can to make ends meet, but we’ve fallen short and time is running out and if we're unable to pay the property tax by June 2nd our home will be sold. That’s why I’m turning to the kindness of others.

We’re asking for help to raise the funds needed to pay our property taxes and save our home. Every single donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to keeping our home and rebuilding financially after such a difficult year.
