Hi, my name is Aalieyah, and I started this GoFundMe for my mom. On November 15, she was in an accident that left her without a car, which is her only way to earn a living. She has always worked hard to provide for herself and for me, living beneath her means and handling everything on her own. This is the first time she has had to ask for help.

She applies to jobs every day, but nothing has come through yet. She has contacted 211, every church, and every organization in our area, but there has not been any assistance available. Without a car, she is unable to work, and we are at risk of losing our housing. My mom just wants to get back to work and keep our family safe.

We have already used $170 from previous donations to cover bills and groceries this month. The remaining $500 will cover the deposit and first week of a rental car so she can start working again. Getting a car will allow her to provide for herself and me and prevent us from falling behind on our housing.
