Hi! First off my name is Candice. I'm 42 years old. I'm a CNA and have worked in the medical field for over 15 years. I worked every single day, 12 hour shifts during covid because I love helping people. I'm current working light duty and working as much as possible even though it's more then I should.

Ok so first off I was diagnosed with leukemia about a month ago, and the day I found this out I also found out I no longer had the health insurance I had for years. Now let's rewind a little bit. So I've been battling health issues and Cancer since I was 21 years old which then it was when I had to have a hysterectomy, then it was carcinoid tumors which attacks yours organs, so I had to have emergency surgery and have my appendix removed, then my gallbladder and several other surgeries after that tumor removed from my kidney and thats just a few. In 2017 I went through chemo which was very rough physically and mentally, but I made it. The lord brought me through yet again. In 2023 I had a accident and had 4 broken ribs and collapsed lung and then more issues after that.

So l have had to swallow my pride and humbly post this about my health and my life because I need a bone marrow transplant and before that there has to be several intense chemo infusions/treatments. Though I have purchased health insurance it will not cover the cost of the chemo or the bone marrow transplant that I need. I have also applied for financial assistance in which I was denied (today). So with all this being said sadly but with my head still held high I'm asking for help. One of my friends said that I had two options, give up, or ask for help and fight, so here I am ready to fight again. I need help for chemo and bone marrow transplant, but I will not be able to work for awhile either so if any extra left over from the doctor bills will go to housing cost. Any amount will help if you can't help it's ok just please share and say a prayer for me. If you know me you know how I am with just a little bit of crazy but you also know that I love Jesus and he has brought me through alot and he can bring me through this as well.
