Dear Friends, Family, and the Middlemount Community.

I’m reaching out to share that my best friend Candace whom lives within our small community, is facing an unimaginable battle. Candace has recently been diagnosed with cancer at the age of 30.

Candace is a loving mother to her 3 month old daughter, Mia. Instead of enjoying this precious time as a new parent, she is navigating the challenges of treatment while caring for her baby girl along side Mia’s birth mother Kristelle.

Candace is currently employed but is not in a permanent position, which means she does not qualify for assistance. As a New Zealand Citizen, she is unfortunately not entitled to any kind of government support.

The increase in everyday living expenses was already hard, but now, with no income during her treatment, she faces the financial burden that will become very overwhelming. The funds we raise will go directly towards essential expenses and help her get through her treatment without having to worry about financial stresses.

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in Candace’s life and her ability to focus on her health and be the best mother to Mia.
