Hello, my name is Michael. I am a 36-year-old disabled son who is trying to help my father save our home. Alfred is a 77-year-old stage 4 cancer survivor who was given 6 months to live in 2015, but is still here by the grace of God fighting. He became a widower in 2022 after many years of taking care of his wife who suffered from a stroke. After my mother passed away, we have done everything we can to keep afloat. I have waited over 16 months for disability to come through, I tried about everything, but everything has failed and now our home was sold at auction on Monday, March 17th, 2025. We can’t wait for disability to come in any further, and we need a miracle. Not only are we losing our home that my parents worked years to build, we are losing the place we called home for the last 23 years, along with our 4 rescue cats, Roxy, Cookie, Chewy, and Bruce. Fred wakes up everyday before the sun to ride his bike over a busy overpass over a mile to get to work.
