Hi, my name is Feyisola Ojelabi, am a medical doctor / medical researcher by profession. It's no news that cancer has been hiting real hard and deep into the world today and leaving millions of people with scars, sadness and intense excruciating unimaginable pain.

I can tell you all for free it's not a sight to behold been a patient, having a loved one go through that or even been a Caregiver.

Moments like that, one tends to appreciate goodhealth. There are thousands of people going through similar challenges, presently in serious agony and pain even as you are reading this piece without adequate medical care or even with appropriate medical care but lack of funds.

Last year, I embarked on a journey to alleviate this burden, giving hope and smiles to this set of wonderful people by directly visiting them by their sickbeds in two cities in South Western Nigeria.

With the help of the Medical directors, we were able to see over 40 cancer patients presently on admission in two tertiary hospitals in Ogun State.

It's time again to be a blessing!!

 

This year, the plan is to extend this visit to 5 hospitals and see over a 100 patients giving relief materials in form of cash.

These people need our help.there were lots of patients who had no money (1000 naira equivalent to 2 dollars to get daily wound dressing).

We had patients who had no money for laboratory investigations, medications, chemotherapy and procedures.

Nothing is too small.
