Breast Cancer Patient & Husband Need Your Help

Anita Johnson, Office Manager & Broker, Elson Financial & Associates

It is with very sad hearts that we share Elson Financial’s Office Manager, Anita Johnson has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. The cancer is aggressive and moving swiftly. It has spread into Anita’s shoulder and now into her right hip. In the coming weeks, she will begin to undergo radiation. She has already gone through chemo.

In Anita's words, "This is the first time I'm going public with my story. I do not feel sorry for myself. I'm not angry nor am I asking, "Why me?"  I just take it one day at a time but I do need help."

At the same time, her dear husband, Neal, of 32 years, had a terrible fall going down the steps of their basement. This accident has caused tremendous injury and permanent damage. He has massive brain bleeds and major brain trauma. Because of it, Neal is unable to work for the rest of his life and has now been relocated to a long-term care facility for 24/7 around the clock care. He is only age 62. 

The family’s income as anyone can imagine has had a drastic blow. Neal can no longer work and  Anita is working less hours due to pain and complications from the cancer. Most of all their assets will go to pay for Neal’s care.

Any amount you can give to support Anita and Neal is extremely appreciated. The money raised here will go to pay off the remainder of their mortgage so Anita does not lose their home.
