Hi, my name is Camryn Carter, and I’m a junior from Detroit, Michigan, with big dreams of seeing the world and expanding my perspective beyond the classroom. I’ve been offered an amazing opportunity to study abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with my school, Clark Atlanta University. I need your help to make this dream a reality in June 2025.

This program is more than just a trip; it’s an opportunity for me to step outside my comfort zone, immerse myself in a new culture, and gain experiences that will shape my future in ways I can’t even imagine yet. Studying abroad will allow me to connect with people from different backgrounds, experience the beauty and history of Brazil firsthand, and grow into a more well-rounded, globally aware person.

The only thing standing between me and this life-changing experience is finances. The cost of travel, accommodations, and program fees is more than I can afford on my own, but I’m determined to make this happen. That’s why I’m reaching out for support. every dollar gets me closer to Rio and closer to fulfilling a dream of mine.
