Hi, my name is Camri, and I’ve been selected to attend the Washington Journalism and Media Conference in Washington, D.C.! This is a huge opportunity for me to learn more about journalism, leadership, and my future career goals. I’m really excited, but I need help covering the cost of the trip.

Ever since I was young, I’ve been an avid reader and love making up stories. I’m also a huge baseball fan and dream of becoming a sports commentator one day. My love for baseball really took off when Ohtani was selected to be a pitcher for the Dodgers. Since then, I’ve watched games whenever I can and imagine myself one day sharing the excitement of the sport with others as a commentator.

This conference will give me the chance to learn from professionals, meet other students who share my passion, and take steps toward making my dreams a reality.
