Please continue to keep Cammie in your prayers! She is doing pretty good but still has a bit of her incision that isn’t healing! The kidney is working beautifully!! Keeping her meds every twelve hours keeps it from rejecting! They found blood clots in her right leg so that has slowed her down a little also but she is determined to work with the boys and show them how much you can trust Jesus!!! Aloneness you for your continued support and prayers!
Cam is the most giving person I have ever met. I moved into the VFW National Home for Children at the age of 8, I moved into her house with her husband and 7 other kids. At the time in my life when I felt least wanted, Cam made me feel loved. She taught me what a family really looks like. To support and encourage each other through the baggage and mistakes, to love and teach through it all. Cammie has many kids she has helped raise over 30 years, she keeps in touch with most of them. She has devoted literally her entire life to serve the Lord. She has given up so much for others around her because that’s what God called her to do.
“Every precious one, a child you died to save. If you give your life to love them, so will I.” - Hillsong United
These lyrics speak close to my heart, they explain Cammie’s mission in this life.
She has helped raise many kids and at times gets screamed at, cursed at, looked down upon, scolded, ignored, hated, spit upon, After all of these years, if you ask her why, her answer will be the same as it was 20 years ago. LOVE. She loves the Lord, and she loves every single one of. This woman has forever changed my life. She has given me the confidence to chase my dreams, has taught me to love my daughter and love those around me. She gives herself on a daily basis. I hope those reading this are willing to love her and support her as much as she has done for all of us.
Thank you for all of your love and support during this difficult time.
