Help Camilo Walk Again: Surgery Fund

Hello everyone my name is Cami and Im organizing this fundraiser for my cousin Camilo. We are from Colombia but I moved to the US a couple years ago. This summer I came to Colombia for my summer vacation and was heartbroken when I found out that Camilo's insurance company was not going to pay for the surgery he needs to walk properly. Camilo was born with a condition on his foot that makes his arch too high and needed surgery as soon as he had the age required.

Last year Camilo underwent another surgery because his tendons were too swollen. The surgery went wrong and the pressure created by his tendons ended up breaking his bone. He needs another surgery to fix the damage on his foot but his insurance company is not going to cover it. Our healthcare system is going through a crisis where multiple insurance companies are closing, the doctors are not getting paid and we don't know where our monthly payments are going.

Camilo is a hardworking man, dedicated to his family and small businesses. I want to raise the money for the surgery but that wouldn’t cover expenses after the surgery for the time he is not going to be able to work. Anything that you could donate we are forever grateful. God bless you.
