Help Camilo Mancera Recover from a Severe Brain Injury
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
I am reaching out to ask for your help during an incredibly difficult time. My nephew, Camilo Mancera, is a bright, curious, and kind-hearted 14-year-old boy who was excited to start his freshman year at Bellaire High School in Houston. He had been looking forward to joining the school's soccer team—a dream he had worked hard for.
However, on January 14th, during soccer practice, Camilo suffered a terrible accident that resulted in a severe brain injury. A hard hit to his head changed everything in an instant. Since that day, he has been fighting for his life in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Camilo has undergone four surgeries and counting, to repair the damage, and his road to recovery is long and uncertain. His parents, my brother and sister-in-law, have been by his side every step of the way, facing unimaginable emotional and financial challenges.
We are humbly asking for your support to help Camilo and his family through this journey. Your donations will go toward:
Medical expenses for Camilo’s ongoing treatments, surgeries, and rehabilitation.
Family support to help his parents manage daily expenses as they take time off work to be with him.
Future care needs to give Camilo the best possible chance at recovery.
No donation is too small—every contribution, share, and prayer makes a difference. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your network to help us reach more people.
Camilo is a fighter, and with your support, we hope to provide him with the best care and resources to heal. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of his journey.
Please keep Camilo and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
With gratitude,
Ana Mancera
