Help Camilla Bring Healthcare to Peru

Donation protected
My sister Camilla Industrioso is a sophomore at Stony Brook University, majoring in health science on the pre-PA track. She’s always been passionate about helping others, and her dream is to become a dermatology physician assistant. Recently, Camilla was accepted for a competitive internship in Peru with SBU VAW Medical, a program that partners with VAW Global Health Alliances to bring sustainable and equitable healthcare to communities in need.

This internship is more than just a learning experience—it’s a chance for Camilla to connect with other aspiring healthcare professionals, build lifelong networks, and gain the patient care hours required for PA school. She’ll have the unique opportunity to shadow local physicians, learn about disease diagnosis and treatment, and get hands-on training in clinic operations and basic pharmacology. These experiences will not only help her stand out as a PA school applicant but also give her the confidence and skills to make a meaningful impact in her future career.

Camilla is determined to make the most of this opportunity, not just for herself, but for the people she’ll serve in the future. By supporting her journey, you’re helping her take a big step toward her dream and empowering her to give back to communities both abroad and at home. We’re so grateful for any support you can offer—every contribution brings Camilla closer to her goal and shows her that she’s not alone on this path.
