However, just a month later, in June 2021, my life took an unexpected and challenging turn. I suffered from an ischemic brain stroke that left me fighting for my health and my future. The following month, I found myself confined to the ICU.

As I emerged from that difficult chapter and returned home in August 2021, the stroke left me with spasticity, primarily in the right side of my body, particularly affecting my right leg. It was a constant struggle, a battle with my own body, and the dreams of being the mother I had envisioned for my daughter seemed to slip further away with each passing day.

In the midst of this challenging journey, I found myself in a paradoxical state - fiercely independent in spirit, yet living under the shadow of the possibility of falling due to my physical limitations. Each step was a test of resilience, and I leaned on a Canadian crutch for support.
