My name is Cristian, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart during one of the hardest moments our family has ever faced. My 4-year-old niece, Camila Nicol Tamayo Carrillo, from Juárez, Chihuahua, has been diagnosed with leukemia. She is a sweet, loving, and strong little girl who should be enjoying her childhood—but instead, she is now fighting for her health and her life. As a family, we are doing everything we can to support her, but the reality is that the medical expenses, treatments, hospital visits, and daily needs are more than we can handle on our own.

About four weeks ago, we noticed Camila wasn’t looking well and became sick. After a visit to the doctor, no blood tests were done, but her condition worsened. Three weeks ago, she appeared yellow and was taken to the hospital again, where we received the devastating diagnosis of leukemia. Since then, our lives have changed completely as we focus on getting her the care she needs. The costs for medical treatments, medications, hospital stays, travel, and daily living expenses have quickly become overwhelming.
