On November 6th, our world was turned upside down when our 9 year old baby was rushed to the hospital with pneumonia and a dangerously low blood count. Two days after she was admitted, her condition drastically worsened. She remained in the PICU for almost a month battling multiple life-threatening conditions including:

- Vasculitis

- Renal Failure

- Pulmonary Hemorrhage

- Respiratory Failure

- Cardiac Arrhythmia

She was discharged after 32 days in the hospital but every day presents new challenges. Her road to recovery has been a long and difficult journey that is just getting started. Her future will require extensive medical treatments including continued dialysis 3 times a week or more, physical therapy, steroid treatments, other medications and a possible kidney transplant.

As parents, we are doing everything we can to stay strong and support her in this difficult time.
