Help Camila and her family with Medical Bills

Sofy Carrillo and her husband Raul are facing a reality that none of us can fathom.  Their first born daughter Camila was born on Feb 27, 2019 in Leon, Mexico, as healthy as can be.  Once being released from the hospital just a couple of days later, Camila stopped breathing at home due to complications from jaundice, resulting in significant damage to the left side of her brain. Over the past 2 years, Camila has been always seen with a smile.  She’s a fighter too, completing multiple physical therapy sessions weekly in order to increase her mobility and functions.  Sofy and Raul’s lives have been turned upside down due to the necessary 24 hour care for Camila, forcing Sofy to quit her management job and Raul – a well known executive chef in Mexico – to work more than ever.  Not to mention, they were blessed with the birth of baby number 2, Nicolas in December 2020.
Unfortunately another episode struck just 2 weeks ago, landing Camila in the ICU and put into an induced coma by the doctors.  You can imagine the costs associated with this.  They need our help and I’m asking you to donate whatever you can towards Camila’s treatment and care.  Any amount will be a huge help towards this excessive medical bills and 100% of your donation will go directly to them. If there’s any surplus in donations that cover all the medical bills then the extra will be donated back to medical research.

Sofy Carrillo y su esposo Raúl enfrentan una realidad que ninguno de nosotros puede comprender. Su primera hija, Camila, nació el 27 de Febrero del 2019 en León, México. Una vez que fue dada de alta del hospital solo un par de días después, Camila dejó de respirar en casa debido a complicaciones de la ictericia, lo que provocó un daño significativo en el lado izquierdo de su cerebro. Durante los últimos 2 años, a Camila siempre se la ha visto con una sonrisa. Ella también es una luchadora, completando múltiples sesiones de fisioterapia semanalmente para aumentar su movilidad y funciones. Las vidas de Sofy y Raúl se han trasformado debido a la atención necesaria las 24 horas para Camila. Fueron bendecidos con el nacimiento del bebé número 2, Nicolás, en diciembre de 2020.
Desafortunadamente, otro episodio ocurrió hace solo 2 semanas, llevando a Camila a la UCI y los médicos la pusieron en coma inducido. Necesitan nuestra ayuda y les pedimos que donen todo lo que pueda para el tratamiento y la atención de Camila. Cualquier cantidad será de gran ayuda para cubrir los gastos médicos. El 100% de su donación irá directamente a ellos. Si hay un extra después de que las cuentas del hospital sean liquidadas, se hará una donación en nombre de Camila para la investigación médica.
