Hi everyone, my name is Kayla, and I’m reaching out on behalf of one of my incredible coworkers, Camie — someone who has spent her life caring deeply for others and their pets, now finding herself needing a little bit of care in return.

Over the past few months, Camie has faced unexpected financial hardship after her previous employer suddenly cut her hours with no explanation. This left her struggling to keep up with essential bills and rent, despite her best efforts to recover quickly.

Camie is now working full-time, and has been a bright light from day one — dedicated, compassionate, hardworking, and always the first to show up for others in need. On top of her full-time job, she’s been DoorDashing and Ubering late into the night to catch up on what she fell behind on during those difficult months. She is doing everything she possibly can — but right now, it’s still not enough.

Her current lease is ending, and her landlord has refused to renew or allow month-to-month housing unless her past-due rent is fully paid. This remaining balance is due by Monday, November 3rd, and without help, she is at serious risk of losing her home.

Camie is a single woman doing her very best to support herself and her six rescue cats, who rely on her completely. Losing her home would be devastating for all of them.

We are hoping to raise enough to:

✅ Give her a small buffer while she stabilizes financially

Camie has worked so hard to get to a better place — she’s so close. She just needs a helping hand to get through the final stretch.
