Cami has spent her life showing up for others, serving her community, currently as a Sergeant with the Lago Vista Police Department, before with Cedar Park, and before that, dispatching, standing strong in the hardest moments, and always putting others before herself. Now, she’s facing one of the toughest battles of her life. Cami was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. As they planned their wedding and built a beautiful future with her newly engaged fiancé, Parker, a dedicated Williamson County paramedic, this diagnosis has turned their world upside down. Beyond her career and service, Cami’s greatest dream has always been to become a mother. After enduring multiple heartbreaking miscarriages, she and Parker were holding onto hope for their future. Now, alongside fighting cancer, she is racing against time to preserve that dream. IVF and egg retrieval offer a chance to protect her ability to have children, but unfortunately, these treatments are not covered by her insurance. No one prepares for a moment like this. The emotional, physical, and financial weight is overwhelming.
