Help Cameron's Family Through Cancer Fight

Donation protected
Hi there, my name is Chastity and I am a proud Memaw to 7 beautiful children. One of my sweet peas, Cameron, was diagnosed on October 10, 2024, with rhabdomyosarcoma, otherwise known as RMS. This is a rare and aggressive form of cancer that occurs mostly in children. It is a soft tissue cancer that grows rapidly and often metastasizes to other parts of the body.

Cameron was a preemie, born 11 weeks early, and has been a fighter his entire life. From his 3 months in the NICU to fighting colds and other illnesses due to being a preemie, he has always been a happy and positive child. He loves his monster trucks and dinosaurs, chicken nuggets and French fries, and playing with his cousins. In August, Cameron became a super proud big brother to Nova and has been learning all about being gentle and sweet to his little sister, as well as how to adapt to no longer being an only child.

Cameron's mom, Heather, who is my stepdaughter (but I love her as much as if she were of my own blood), has been on maternity leave following the birth of Nova, with the intention of returning to work once her leave was up. Now, with the treatment plan for Cameron, she can no longer do that. Cameron cannot attend daycare while his immune system is compromised and battling the side effects of his upcoming chemo treatments. In addition, Nova will also not be able to attend daycare in an effort to minimize germ exposure to Cameron. The loss of income will be devastating to this family. Cameron's father, Anthony, works 2 jobs currently, one for the local school system and as owner of a local youth basketball league. His life is devoted to children and empowering them to achieve more, be more.

As this family faces this unfair and crazy battle with cancer in a toddler, the goal here is to provide help. With medical expenses, with groceries, with household bills, with whatever they need. If you can't donate, please send up prayers. We all have witnessed the miracles God can do and pray the doctors use their God-given talents to provide the best care to help heal our sweet boy.

Thank you for learning about us and our family.
