Support Cameron’s Recovery After Tragic Accident
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
On March 29, 2025, our beloved Cameron was struck by a car in Hillsdale, Michigan. He was airlifted to Toledo Hospital with serious injuries, including a broken femur. Doctors have informed us that Cameron will need surgery to repair the damage immediately, and then again in about a year.
While we are thankful that Cameron is receiving the care he needs, this traumatic event has placed a heavy burden on his family—both emotionally and financially. His parents are faced with a $6,500 deductible before their insurance will even begin to cover medical expenses. On top of that, Cameron will require at-home care for at least 30 days, which means that one of his parents will have to be without income during this time. This is especially challenging for the family, as they have four other children at home to care for.
As you can imagine, these medical bills, daily expenses, and caregiving costs are mounting quickly. That’s why we’re reaching out to you, our community, to ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time.
Any donation—big or small—will help relieve some of the financial pressure they’re facing, allowing them to focus on Cameron’s recovery and being there for their family. Your generosity will go directly toward covering medical costs, his at-home care, and the day-to-day needs of the family as they navigate this hardship.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and any financial assistance you can offer. We truly appreciate your support more than words can express.
With gratitude,
Marissa Curtis
